Lord Gaelin first found Ravenwood Church & Seminary of Wicca, Inc. in 1990 after the birth of his oldest son. Having spent sixteen years in the U.S. Navy he appreciated Ravenwood’s respect for balance, tradition, and structure. He was initiated to the first degree by Lady Sintana on July of 1993 after having taken Ravenwood’s seminary classes completely three times. He met Lady Larina at his first ritual at Ravenwood and they were married several years later in 1994. He subsequently received his second degree after Lady Sintana’s retirement under Lady Deveyana’s direction in August 1998. Devoted to the Old Ways, he and Lady Larina took on leadership of Ravenwood Church & Seminary of Wicca at Beltane 2000. He received his third degree from Lady Sintana with Lord Merlin’s assistance in October 2000. The initiation was witnessed by Lord Theitic, Rev. Lori Bruno, Lady Galadriel, Lord Athanor, and Lady Arden of the Unicorn Tradition, as well as several Ravenwood Elders. Having taught in the Craft for seventeen years and served as Ravenwood’s High Priest for almost ten years, Lord Gaelin embodies the dedication and teachings of the Old Ways and is devoted to providing the highest quality instruction and guidance. He and Lady Larina resolved to form the House of RavenStone in November 2009 to preserve for their students and initiates the spiritual practice of the Craft they had been taught. He looks forward to continuing this journey for several years to come. |
