Every fall when the night air turns crisp and the days grow shorter Atlanta’s best known witches gather for a night of fun, frivolity, and philanthropy. Originally hosted by Ravenwood Church & Seminary of Wicca, Inc. and carried on by the House of RavenStone in conjunction with Phoenix & Dragon Bookstore and The 5 Seasons Brewing Company, the Annual Witches’ Brewfest is a charity costume fund raiser held the weekend before Samhain at the 5 Seasons Prado restaurant located at 5600 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.
The event features a special beer brewed exclusively for the event and blessed by local Craft Elders. Games, costumes, raffles, and contests abound with prizes donated by area businesses. Music, dancing, and excellent food round out the fare. Canned goods and non-perishable food items are collected with admission to benefit the Atlanta Food Bank. Although you must be at least 21 years of age to enjoy the brew, everyone is welcome to attend! A single admission includes One (1) Beer Ticket for the Witches’ Brew and One (1) Raffle Ticket. Commemorative t-shirts are also available by pre-order and at the door on a first come first served basis. Come and share conviviality and a devilishly delicious brew with those who know Halloween best!
The 2010 Annual Witches’ Brewfest will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 7 pm and will be themed "What Manner of Witch Be Ye?" Make plans now to come dressed as your favorite witch!
Tickets go on sale one month before the event and can be purchased through the House of RavenStone website or in person at Phoenix & Dragon Bookstore.
